About us
The Belgian Veterinary Acupuncture Society (BEVAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the practice of veterinary acupuncture as an integrative part of veterinary medicine. BEVAS is an educational and membership-based organization, committed to providing veterinarians with the highest quality training in acupuncture.
The MISSION of BEVAS is to provide, promote, and support veterinary acupuncture and related treatment modalities through quality basic, advanced, and continuing education. We teach with PASSION and deliver a high-level veterinary acupuncture training program that goes beyond the standard foundations.
Founded as the first veterinary acupuncture society in Europe, BEVAS has been setting standards in veterinary acupuncture education for decades, with affiliates and collaborations extending internationally.
As an additional opportunity, participants may choose to take an optional final exam that grants IVAS certification. This is not mandatory, but it is available for those who wish to add an internationally recognized qualification to their BEVAS training.
The VISION of BEVAS is to provide professional leadership as a proactive advocate for veterinary acupuncture and related treatment modalities worldwide.
