FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Who is this course designed for?

This course is designed for licensed veterinarians who wish to integrate acupuncture and TCM principles into their clinical practice. No prior experience with acupuncture is required — we start from the foundations.

Is this course fully online?

It is a hybrid course. The theoretical modules are delivered via live online sessions (Tuesdays or Thursdays, 13:00 CET), which are also recorded. On-site practical labs are held in Belgium — 3 weekend sessions across the course (64 hours total).

Can I enroll in individual modules?

Yes. You can enroll module by module. Each module is priced individually, allowing you to join specific areas of interest. However, for accreditation and certification, completion of all modules is required.

What accreditation does this course carry?

The course is accredited by the Belgian Veterinary Board (N.G.R.O.D) in Belgium and awards 329.5 EBP (Evidence Based Practice) points. A BEVAS Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture is awarded upon successful completion of all modules and the final exam.

When is the next exam?

The final exam dates for the 2026–2027 cohort are June 5th and 6th, 2027. Students must complete all theoretical and on-site hours before sitting the exam.

What are the on-site session dates?

There are three on-site weekends: November 13–15, 2026; January 16–18, 2027; and March 19–21, 2027. These clinical labs are held in Belgium and focus on hands-on practice, diagnosis, and case work.

How are payments structured?

Payments are made per module by bank transfer, at least one month before each module starts. An invoice is issued prior to each module. Prices are listed excluding VAT where applicable.

Are recordings available after live sessions?

Yes. All live online sessions are recorded and remain accessible to enrolled students throughout the entire course duration, so you can review at your own pace.
